To initiate a warranty claim

Please contact us immediately at sales@powerengines.net.
Power Engines authorization is required before any disassembly or repairs are initiated to diagnose the failure.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Failure to contact Power Engines and receive authorization before any repair work is performed will invalidate your warranty claim.

🔧 Who is Covered

Power Engines’ warranty obligations for any Power Engines Crate Engine (“Crate Engine”) are limited to the original owner of the vehicle in which the crate engine is installed and who has submitted the warranty registration card and required documentation to activate this warranty.

This warranty:

  • Is non-transferable to a second owner.

  • Is secondary to any other warranties or manufacturer recalls currently in effect.

⏱️ Warranty Period

The warranty period for the crate engine is 2 years (unlimited miles), beginning from the shipping date as shown on your Power Engines invoice or shipping bill of lading, whichever date is earlier.

🛠️ Warranty Coverage

When you submit a valid and properly documented warranty claim during the warranty period, Power Engines will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective component(s) covered by this warranty.

All replaced components become the property of Power Engines and will assume the remaining warranty period of the original crate engine.

Power Engines’ total liability under this warranty is limited to 30% of the original price paid for the crate engine.

When the engine is correctly and completely installed, Power Engines covers defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the exclusions and limitations defined below.

Warranty coverage provisions include:

  • Repairs under $499 will be reviewed by Power Engines. If approved, a Power Engines–authorized repair facility will complete the repairs.
Repairs exceeding $499 performed outside our build facility will be at the customer’s expense.

  • Repairs of $500 or greater require the engine to be returned to Power Engines’ build facility for warranty service.

    • Removal, proper crating, and reinstallation of the engine are the customer’s responsibility.

    • Power Engines covers shipping, repair, and return of the crated engine once received.

⚠️ Note: Engines shipped to Power Engines must be completely intact and not disassembled unless authorized.
Improper crating that causes shipping damage is not covered and will be the customer’s responsibility.

🚫 If You Experience Engine Failure

If you experience any engine failure or runnability issues, you must discontinue use immediately and contact Power Engines.
Continuing to operate the engine voids your warranty.
