Our story began in 2002, founded by master engine builder Doug Mascaritola, whose lifelong dedication to mechanical craftsmanship started at the early age of 13, working in his family’s machine shop. What began as a hands-on hobby quickly transformed into a lifelong calling — a drive to engineer power at its purest form. From those humble beginnings, Power Engines was born.

Our first workshop was located in Ocean, New Jersey — a small but powerful start that couldn’t contain our growing reputation for excellence. As demand grew, we expanded to a larger facility in Freehold, NJ, allowing us to push boundaries even further.
By 2015, Doug and his long-time collaborator, Steve, decided it was time to trade the icy winters of New Jersey for the warm sunshine of Melbourne, Florida — a move that brought with it not just better weather, but greater opportunity for growth, innovation, and precision craftsmanship.
